Vestas is in line for up to 1GW of turbine supply deals in Russia after being selected by the Finnish-Russian consortium that was the big winner in the country’s recent wind auction.
The Danish OEM was named as supplier to the 50/50 investment fund partnership between Finnish utility Fortum and Rusnano, a Russian state-owned development company, which took the biggest share of the 1.65GW
