Capital Power has completed its 178MW Bloom wind farm in Kansas, the first wind project in its sizeable US portfolio that the Canada-based independent power producer has taken through development and construction.
The Bloom wind farm is located on private land 20 miles south of Dodge City and uses 54 Vestas V117-3.3MW machines– the first project in Kansas to utilise that turbine model.
