Bird charity RSPB Scotland is to prolong its legal challenge against 2.3GW of wind projects off Scotland by lodging an application to the Inner House of the Court of Session for permission to appeal to the UK’s Supreme Court against an earlier judgment.
Three appeals court judges at the Court of Session in Edinburgh in mid-May backed ministers against RSPB Scotland, which opposes the development of four wind farms off Scotland’s east coast.
