Nuclear group Rosatom plans to acquire wind projects in India as part of a wider engagement by Russia with the Indian energy sector, according to reports from New Delhi.
Russian state-controlled Rosatom – which has already entered the wind market at home – will look at buying wind assets in the south Asian nation as well as setting up hydropower projects there, claimed business journal Livemint, quoting an unnamed source with knowledge of the matter.
