Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval is under pressure from the wind industry and other clean energy groups and proponents to sign Assembly Bill 206 into law that would increase the state’s renewable energy portfolio to 40% by 2030 from the present requirement of 25% by 2025.

An official in Sandoval’s office in the state capital of Carson City told Recharge he has the bill under study, but could not say if he would sign or veto it.
