The Argentine northeastern province of Santa Fe has called on investors to register renewable energy generation projects in the province as it looks to spur investments via a possible tender.

The call for projects was officially opened on 7 June and will last for 90 days, after which the provincial government will organise how they will be contracted.

“The public invitation arose from the wish to organise, since week after week we received proposals from investors who wanted to develop projects in Santa Fe,” said the provincial energy minister Verónica Geese.
