Danish turbine maker Vestas has signed a contract to deliver 14 of its V126-3.45MW machines for Argentina’s 50MW El Llano wind project, owned by aluminium smelter Aluar.
This is the second contract signed this week by Vestas in Argentina, having Tuesday announced a 220MW contract with Argentina power generator Genneia.
This brings to 500MW the contracts Vestas has signed in Argentina since mid-2016, the company says.
