Australian developer Offshore Energy is in the early stages of planning what could become the country’s first offshore wind farm, an array of at least 2GW off the coast of Gippsland in Victoria state.
The company has been working with the Australian government to establish the rights to investigate the project's feasibility, after engineering firm WSP/Parsons Brinckerhoff undertook a preliminary planning and environmental study.
