The Spanish solar association UNEF is in the process of filing a complaint with the Directorate-General for Competition within the European Commission over the “discriminatory” regulations surrounding the country’s renewable energy auction.
UNEF, which has previously criticised the rules of the recent 3GW auction over its floor price, is planning to request changes to the current system in order to make the process more competitive, general manager, José Donoso told Recharge.
