Nordex Acciona Windpower (AWP) plans to keep both its Nordex and AWP product platforms to cater for different market environments such as land constrained and noise sensitive sites in Europe or the US Midwest, where the lowest LCOE is needed, the OEM’s chief executive José Luis Blanco tells Recharge.
The manufacturer is also keeping its options open to revive a mothballed AWP nacelle plant in Iowa.
