The 165MW Nobelwind offshore wind farm has been officially inaugurated in Belgium, OEM MHI Vestas has said.
The Nobelwind project is owned by a consortium of Japanese conglomerate Sumitomo, Belgian offshore developer Parkwind and Dutch investor Meewind. The development, located 45km offshore in 20-36 metres of water near the Belwind 1 wind farm, will be powered by 50 MHI Vestas V112-3.3MW
