Brazil’s mines and energy minister, Fernando Coelho Filho has decided to continue in Michel Temer’s cabinet even as his Brazilian Socialist Party (PSB) decided this weekend to formally leave the congressional coalition and ask for the president’s resignation, further weakening the Brazilian leader.

PSB’s decision comes after three other parties had already left Temer’s once tightly-knit multi-party coalition following accusations and recordings last week that indicated influence peddling and corruption directly affecting Brazil’s president and some of his closest allies.
