GE was told by the European Commission (EC) it faces scrutiny over possible infringements relating to submissions made in the run-up to the $1.65bn takeover of turbine blade-maker LM Wind Power, the US wind OEM confirmed to Recharge today.
GE issued a statement on Monday following reports that it faces a potential probe over whether it gave misleading information to EC regulators reviewing its acquisition of the blade-maker.
