Germany’s Federal Network Agency said strong competition in its first onshore wind tender had driven prices down to an average level of €57.1/MWh ($63.9/MWh) for the 807MW awarded.

The tender was dominated by cooperative-style "citizens energy" companies, which took 96% of the total awarded across 70 successful bidders in the auction.
