Russia will tender for 1.9GW of wind later this month, more than originally proposed, as it capitalises on strong developer interest, the Russian Association of Wind Power Industry (RAWI) said.
The wind tender under Russia’s Rules of the Wholesale Electricity and Capacity Market will be held between May 29 and June 9. The results will be announced by June 30.
