The Scottish government has won its appeal against a legal ruling that left 2.3GW of offshore wind projects in the Forth and Tay off the east coast of Scotland in limbo.
Three Scottish appeals court judges at the Court of Session backed ministers against the bird charity RSPB Scotland, which opposed development of the four wind farms on the grounds they threaten to kill thousands of protected seabirds every year.
