Clarksons Platou (CP) has put in place a specialist expert division to focus on vessels for the growing renewables market.
The newly-merged player will provide ship broking, market intelligence and commercial services specifically to the “growing offshore renewable market”, it said.
The move follows an internal review that identified “a gap in the market for global broking services that could match developers and their suppliers with the right mix of vessels to reduce risk and increase value throughout a wind farm’s lifecycle”, said CP.
