German wind OEM Nordex said a shift to auctions in “core European markets” was behind a sharp drop in orders in the first quarter of 2017, but claimed business is set to pick up as the year unfolds.
Order intake fell to €333m ($362.3m) in the January to March period, down from €541m in the same quarter a year earlier.
