In less than nine months, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), a Danish fund manager with no name recognition for average Americans, has accumulated ownership stakes in wind projects here that could power about 750,000 of their homes.
CIP has become a mover and shaker in Massachusetts, the nation’s hottest offshore wind market, and in Texas, which dominates industry onshore construction and advanced development.
