Industry body RenewableUK has called on the next UK government to set out policies that will ensure the future growth of renewable energy, as the country gets ready for the next general election.
RenewableUK has set out a manifesto Powering Britain in which it points out that renewable energy has become a mainstream source that is driving down consumer bills, “as new onshore wind is the cheapest technology bar none, and offshore wind is set to be cheaper than nuclear power”.
