Brazil could hold two tenders this year, said the country's wind industry body, giving the opportunity for wind developers to contract new projects for the first time since 2015, although doubts over volume and prices still linger.

“There is room for two tenders this year – a reserve tender and a normal tender,” said Élbia Silva Ganoum, executive president of the Brazilian Wind Power Association (ABEEólica) during an assessment of the industry in 2016 at its headquarters in São Paulo.
