Indian power minister Piyush Goyal fired the starting gun on the next stage of its tender-based wind power procurement programme by unveiling a second 1GW auction.
The announcement came as power distribution companies from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Delhi, Odisha and Assam signed memorandums of agreements for output following the debut reverse auction for 1GW earlier this year, which saw prices fall to 3.46
