Brazil’s power regulator Aneel has lined up at least 1.1GW of unbuilt wind and solar projects for the ‘decontracting’ tender that the government plans to hold by 31 August in order to clear the decks for a future resumption of renewable power procurement.
Aneel has postponed action over the 529MW of solar and 549MW of wind projects until the process takes place.
