Nordex USA has brought its 93MW San Roman facility into commercial operation in Texas, where the OEM has blown past Vestas to become top supplier of 3MW platform turbines for projects under construction in the top US state wind market.
San Roman, located in Cameron County in south Texas near the border with Mexico, utilizes 31 AW125/3000 turbines with technology developed by Acciona Windpower, which Nordex acquired last year.
