Avangrid Renewables, North America’s third largest owner of wind capacity, announced company veteran Laura Beane as its incoming chief executive, replacing Frank Burkhartsmeyer, who is leaving to become chief financial officer of the Northwest Natural Gas Company.
Beane – who has been with the company in its various forms for nearly 20 years, including its prior affiliate PacifiCorp – is currently vice president of O&M services, and will transition into the CEO role over the next month.
