Concrete gravity base (CGB) technology is to be used on the 148MW Lehtirova wind farm in northern Sweden where poor ground conditions have forced developer OX2 to take an alternative approach to the turbine foundations.
Using a design supplied by Finland’s Peikko Group, contractor Empower PN is responsible for the foundation construction at Lehtirova.
