Nuon – the Dutch unit of Vattenfall – is faced with a delay to its 180MW Wieringermeer wind farm the Netherlands amid grid amid connection issues.

The company’s 50 3.6MW turbines are looking at an eight month wait as the planned connection date of July 2018 is “no longer feasible”.

It is now expected that the wind farm can be connected approximately in the second quarter of 2019, Nuon said.
