Germany-based wind OEM Senvion has launched a portfolio of turbines designed to stamp its mark on the Indian market.

The 2MW-class turbines in the 2.XM series offer low cost-of-energy, flexibility across a range of site conditions, and performance at the temperatures in excess of 50 degrees C found in India, said the company.

The new range – announced ahead of the Windergy wind power event in New Delhi next week – comes after Senvion’s August 2016 acquisition of Kenersys India, including its 250MW of production facilities.
