Nordex has won a 195MW supply deal to equip the Lagoa do Barro wind complex in Piaui, northeast Brazil.
The German OEM will deliver the 65 AW125/3000 turbines to developer Atlantic Renewable Energy, itself owned by investment group Actis.
The operator expects to squeeze a capacity factor of 58% out of the high-wind sites of the eight wind farms that make up the complex.
