Turkey has set a 27 July date for its 1GW wind power tender, said reports from Ankara.
The announcement was made this week by energy minister Berat Albayrak, according to Turkey’s Anadolu Agency.
Plant developers will be required to “have over 65% local production”, Albayrak was quoted saying, adding that the tender specifications will soon be published in the country’s Official Gazette.
