Spanish engineering company Global Energy Services (GES) has set up shop in Argentina aiming to tap into the country’s potential to add between 1GW and 1.5GW of wind and solar per year.
GES has created a new company to accelerate its expansion in Argentina, which the company considers to be a “strategic market”.
Part of its ongoing expansion in Latin America, GES has already reached 450MW of wind built in neighbouring Chile after completing two wind farms in 2016.
