Indian wind group Suzlon has secured a debut deal for its latest turbine, the S111 120m.
The company will install 24 of the 2.1MW machines at a 50MW wind farm project in the state of Karnataka.
The order – from an unidentified “leading IPP company” – will be the first commercial-scale deployment of the S111 120m, which sits atop a 120-metre hybrid lattice and tubular tower.
