Austria’s Verbund, Spain’s Iberdrola, Finland’s Fortum and Italy’s Enel are the best-performing power generators in Europe based on their readiness for a low carbon transition, according to a report from non-profit group CDP .

The report, which has ranked 14 of the largest publicly listed power generators in Europe , also said that Germany’s EnBW and RWE, Spanish group Endesa, and Czech company CEZ rank the lowest on carbon-related metrics relative to peers.
