A campaign has begun to clear unexploded ordnance (UXO) at the €2.5bn ($2.7bn) Baie de Saint-Breuic wind farm site in the French Atlantic, according to the consortium developing the project, Ailes Marines.

The survey work, which has the goal of “locating and identifying” potentially live munitions left behind by two world wars for removal, is expected to last 11 days.
