Danish wind manufacturer Vestas has received a 148MW order by a fund managed by Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP).
The order is for 43 of the OEM’s V126-3.45MW turbines for the Bearkat I wind project in Texas, and includes a 20-year service agreement.
Delivery is expected to start in the third quarter, with commissioning earmarked for the end of 2017.
