A lot has changed in Brazil’s wind industry in the past two years.

Not long ago hailed as one of the country’s few resilient industries while most other sectors were in free-fall due to a three-year economic crisis, wind this year joined their stricken ranks as new contracts dried up for lack of tenders.

Momentum and optimism are now wearing out as Brazil’s economy is seen growing less than 1% this year, pushing recovery to late in 2018.
