The citizen-led 102MW Krammer wind farm in the Dutch province of Zeeland and the island of Goeree-Overflakkee has received €200m ($217m) in financial backing.
Shareholders Deltawind and Zeeuwind, as well as German wind turbine manufacturer Enercon, received debt financing from ASN Bank, ING Bank, Rabobank and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking.
A portion of the funds also came from local communities.
