The 402MW Veja Mate offshore wind farm is getting closer to commissioning as more than half of its turbines have been installed in the German North Sea.
The project, located 95km from Borkum island in some 40 metres of water, is built around 67 Siemens SWT-6.0-154 turbines. To date, 34 machines have been installed two and a half months ahead of schedule.
