Mexican engineering firm TTX Development has bought into the 50MW El Sonseado wind farm in northwestern Argentina with the Mendoza provincial energy company EMESA, providing a welcome foreign investment boost to the Argentine renewables build programme.
According to the Mendoza government, TTX will “finance the construction and the operation of the wind farm and will receive, together with EMESA, the economic benefits from the sale of the power”.
