Work is due to start later this week at the giant 588MW Beatrice wind farm off Scotland, Seaway Heavy Lifting has said.
Netherlands-based Seaway said it would begin installing piles for jacket foundations at the project on Saturday, 1 April.
The work will be carried out by the heavy lift vessel Stanislav Yudin. The piles will be delivered by a cargo barge from the manufacturing site directly to the installation vessel on site, where they will be lifted and transferred to Stanislav Yudin’s deck.
