Developer Mainstream Renewable Power (MRP) has won its appeal against termination of the contract-for-difference (CfD) offered to its 448MW Neart na Gaoithe offshore wind project in Scotland.
NNG was awarded a CfD in the February 2015 support allocation round under the UK’s renewables support mechanism, but saw that offer pulled in May last year, apparently because of failure to reach milestones set out under the terms of the award.
