US power giant General Electric (GE) has inked a memorandum of understanding with a trio of Turkish and German companies to bid in an upcoming wind power tender in Turkey at which 1GW or more in wind power is expected to be auctioned off.
The tender under Turkey’s YEKA scheme (Renewable Energy Source Area) is expected to be announced on April 17 at the earliest, according to GE information.
