Finnish investment group Taaleri named the Canadian province of Alberta as its number-one target ahead of a "hesitant" US as it launched a $600m push into the North American wind sector.
Taaleri – whose forays into wind have so far been confined to Finland – said its private equity unit is involved in talks over development and investment in more than 500MW across several projects.
