GeoSea, a subsidiary of Belgium group Deme, will partner-up with Siemens over the "extended scope" contract for the giant €1.8bn ($1.9bn) 497MW Hohe See offshore wind farm, off Germany.
Under the arrangement, GeoSea will design, manufacture and install 71 turbine foundations for developer EnBW.
For the purpose of this deal, with an undisclosed value, GeoSea is Siemens’ EPCI partner, and will enable the German group to provide offshore wind turbines and foundations for the North Sea development.
