Saudi Arabia today fired the starting pistol on round one of its 9.5GW National Renewable Energy Programme (NREP) when it opened a request for qualifications (RFQ) to build 400MW of wind and 300MW of PV.
The RFQ, which closes on 20 March, will be followed by a list of pre-qualified bidders by 10 April, said the kingdom’s energy ministry in a statement.
