Nuon – the Dutch unit of Vattenfall – is planning to install PV modules at several of its wind farms across the Netherlands, as it works to integrate the two renewable energy technologies.
The company is aiming to develop 70MW-worth of solar projects at six of its wind developments, it said.
Nuon aims to install about 250,000 solar panels in Eemshaven, Hemweg, Velsen, Wieringermeer Oudendijk and Haringvliet.
