GE Renewable Energy booked more than 7GW of onshore wind turbine orders in 2016, a 19% jump on the prior year, thanks to its ongoing strength in the booming US and a growing position in a number of important international markets.
The US accounted for three-quarters of GE’s turbine orders last year, the company's Paris-based Renewable Energy unit said Tuesday.
