German player Nordex installed twice as many wind turbines on home turf last year than in the previous 12-months, claiming to outperform the industry as a whole.
Nordex said on Tuesday that it installed 267 units in its domestic market in 2016, a substantial boost compared to 176 turbines in 2015.
Nordex added that as the size of these turbines rose, installed capacity climbed by an even sharper 58% to 691MW from 437MW year-on-year.
