Exelon finishes Google-backed Bluestem wind farm in Oklahoma

Exelon Generation, the competitive power-generation arm of US utility giant Exelon, has finished building the 198MW Bluestem wind farm in Oklahoma, which will supply its power to Google.

Bluestem, built using 60 Vestas V117-3.3MW turbines, is Exelon Generation’s first wind farm in Oklahoma, and will lift its in-house wind capacity to about 1.7GW—potentially moving it onto the US top-10 list.
