ScottishPower Renewables has tapped contractor Van Oord and UK-based installation specialist Seajacks to install jacket foundations at the 714MW East Anglia One (EA1) offshore wind project off eastern England.
The Iberdrola subsidiary said Seajacks’ Scylla – the world’s largest working in offshore wind – will be the main vessel on the project.
The ship will work for at least six months at the site from April 2018.
